It is very difficult for my students to understand the effect of changing various parameters of an exponential function on the parent function (x- and y-axis reflections, vertical/horizontal stretches and shrinks, vertical and horizontal shifts). I created this graphic organizer to help them organize these effects in a logical and organized way based on where they appear in the equation of the function. I use this both as a note-taking tool (the blank version) and as a study tool (filled in version). I also have it blown up and laminated in my room.
Your purchase includes the cover page, the blank version of the graphics organizer (as seen on the preview image) and the graphics organizer completely filled in, allowing for you to use this however you would like in your classroom. Enjoy!
