Included in this zip folder are 10 PDF files. 4 are for instruction and 5 are assignments. A brief description of each:
Instruction file #1 and #2 is all 10 transformations of 5 different functions. The student can visualize the transformations made from the parent function and relate the transformations to the equation. One PDF is for printing and 1 is for for viewing. The functions that are used to illustrate this are:

Assignment #2. This is 24 problems where the student has to identify the correct transformation from 10 choices. It is on 1 page for easy printing.
Assignment #3. This is 24 more problems where the student must identify the correct transformation from 10 choices. This is on 1 page for easy printing
Assignment #4. This is a 20 question assignment from my quadratic functions file. The student must identify vertical and horizontal translations as well as a vertical reflection. This assignment is also on socrative.com. The socrative share number is included in the file.
Assignment #5. This is a 20 question multiple choice assignment.. The student must use the transformation rules to identify an eguation given a graph. There is a visual of the parent function f(x) and the transformed function g(x). 4 diffrent functions are used in this assignment. The functions are:
Assignment #6. This is a 20 question multiple choice assignment. The student must identify transformation rules in functional notation. A quick example is f(x+2) is a shift left from f(x). The problems are both in notation form and on graphs.
