My students loved this activity. I printed out the slides and hung/hid them all around the room. (All 27 problems!) On a sheet of paper numbered 1-27 they wrote down the transformations that they observed and then wrote the equation of the transformed function g(x). Directions are clearly stated on every poster to avoid confusion. This kept my below grade level students engaged for 45 minutes! They loved it! We reviewed the problems they wanted to go over on the board afterwards from the presentation version of the resource. It assesses students knowledge of all 5 transformations: vertical stretches, vertical compressions, reflections across the x-axis, horizontal shifts and vertical shifts. I will be doing this activity every single year.
