Product Description

Do you have a student who struggles with transitions? Simply print, laminate and cut out these charts to place on a students desk. Put velcro in the center of the green, yellow, and red circles on the stop light. The clock will move through each color to show the transition.

Start by placing the clock on the red light. When a student is refusing to move to the next task, prompt them to say "More time please." Once a student verbally requests more time OR points to a communication card, INSTANTLY honor the request and allow an additional amount of time (we start with 2 minutes and progress towards 30 seconds). After their additional time is up, move the clock from the red light to the yellow light. Prompt the student to go to the next task. If the student is refusing again, prompt them to say "More time please." Once the student makes their request, honor their request and give them an additional amount of time. Once their time is up, move the clock from the yellow light to the green light. Once the clock is on the green light - remind the student "green means go" and that they must go to the next task.
