PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

As an Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, I provide Direct and Consultative-Based Services to individuals with Deafness and/or Hearing Impairments at the High School Level: 9th-12th Grades. I have compiled a list 15 general IEP Goals that I utilize with my High Schoolers, both for Direct DHH Services and Consultative-Based DHH Services to focus upon transitional-based content for DHH; strengthening their individual understanding of their disability(ies), their self-advocacy skills and topics for transition that are NOT taught in the General or Special Education Curriculum. My parents, students and districts that I have served have been very appreciative of my transitional focuses; preparing their students for a successful transition from high school to post-secondary settings: home, work and school.
