This game contains 32 game cards, an answer document, and an answer key.
I give my students an answer document and a clipboard. They stand in front of their desks. Each desk has a game card on it. When the game begins, the students complete the task on their numbered card and fill in their answer on their answer document. After a short time, I say, “Scoot.” The students rotate one desk to their right and begin the next task. We do this until all cards have been completed.
You could also print multiple copies of the cards and use them as task cards. I would give each group a set of the cards and an answer document. This could be an independent task or a group activity.
This is a great way to review Transitive and Intransitive verbs as well as Direct Objects. This activity gets the students actively engaged in the review. Have fun!
