PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This worksheet is a great pre-reading activity to use when teaching an older text. It takes slang words from the 1920's, provides a definition, and then prompts students to provide a slang word that people use in present day that has replaced the old slang word.

I used this with Of Plymouth Plantation, but it is a word file, so Of Plymouth plantation can easily be replaced with The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, or any other older text.
