Is getting your students to practice their Algebra skills like pulling teeth? Change up the pace and let them put their coloring skills to work also! This color-by-number activity allows students to practice essential algebra skills while having fun doing it! Unlike many color-by-number worksheets, students must complete the work in order to color the picture. Because of this, students won't be able to circumvent the work and just color a pattern.
FYI--This worksheet is great for days when you need a sub. Motivated and busy students = less discipline issues!
Directions: Students will translate 12 expressions listed on the left column of the first page. They will choose the correct answer (out of 2 options) in the middle column of the page. Based on the answer they choose, they will color all numbers of that expression (1 - 12) the color that is indicated to reveal the pattern of the mandala on the next page.
