Hey everyone! I was looking around for a fun activity for my student's interactive notebooks ... but I couldn't find one I loved! So I made one :)
The students need to cut out the monsters and the graph. They also need to cut the white dotted lines on the graph.
The translation monster's long arrow goes into the dotted slits so that it can slide up and down.
The rotation monster needs a brad and goes through part of the graph!
The reflection monster needs to be folded in half a glued together. The bottom needs to be folded and placed on the graph so that you can flip it back and forth!
It's super simple...super fun...and my kids loved it!
I also had them take notes on the next page, simply writing:
reflection --> flip (underline "fl")
translation --> slide (underline "sl")
rotation --> turn (underline "t")
