This product provides practice with translations. Students will have an opportunity to define translations in their own words. They are guided to explain what happens when a translation is completed and to explain whether or not the images are congruent to each other. One section has students match five graphs of pre-images/images with the correct coordinate notation. Once they have determined the correct match, they will draw the coordinating face below the graph. The last five problems have students determine the image coordinate pairs in order to graph the image.
The second page includes a short color by number. It has students examine four graphs with a pre-image and image. Students are given three possible coordinate notation solutions with colors for a turtle picture to the right.
An answer key is included.
