Thank you so much for checking out my Light Posters and Activities on transparent,
translucent and opaque materials. These activities and written tasks are meant to
supplement your already great Grade 4 Science program. Please do not hesitate to send me an e-mail with any questions regarding the use of these activities.
-In this package you will find posters defining and providing examples on transparent, translucent and opaque materials
-Each defined term comes with three different posters. The first is a completed girl poster and the second is a completed boy poster. I have also included blank posters for you to create with your students if you wish.
-With each term learned from this unit find an adorable craftivity for students to show off their understanding of each concept taught
-You will need to photocopy the craftivities single sided. Students answer questions, cut out both outlines, colour the cover and then staple the two sides together.
-Makes a super cute bulletin board too!
-Students will use this light foldable to define and provide examples of transparent, translucent and opaque materials
-Simply photocopy the two pages back to back and cut on the dotted lines to create an adorable foldable on light concepts
-Add colour to personalize and make the activity their own
-A blank sheet is included to be used with your own created questions
Light Written Pieces
-Have your students showcase their understanding of transparent, translucent and opaque materials in these two written tasks
-Students are asked to make safety choices regarding various materials and their ability to pass light
-Students are encouraged to use their learning from the unit in their responses
