Product Description
Directions:
*Cut out the title and place in the notebook.
*Cut out the 3 flaps and cut out the center of the flap.
*Cut out a strip of clear cellophane and glue to the back of the transparent flap where the center was cut out.
*Cut out a strip of colored cellophane and glue to the back of the translucent flap where the center was cut out.
*Cut out a piece of black construction paper and glue to the back of the opaque flap where the center was cut out.
*Paste the three flaps into the notebook.
*Fold up the flaps and cut and paste the pictures that represent each appropriate term and paste them under the flap so when the flap is folded back down you can “see easily” the pictures that represent transparent through the clear cellophane, “see a cloudy view” of the pictures that represent translucent through the colored cellophane, and not be able to see through the last one that represents opaque with the black construction paper.

Next, cut out the “Definitions” flap and glue the back of the tab and place in the notebook. Fill in the blanks with the correct terms. Words are around the flap.

Writing Assignment: Write two sentences with each term showing that you understand each. Ex. Clouds are translucent because you can still get a tan on a cloudy day. This proves that some light can shine through the clouds.
