This is an activity that can get your students moving during circle time, indoor recess, gross motor play or just when your students need a brain break! There is also opportuntiy for math skills practice of number recognition, and counting. There are two dice: one with numbers on it (the amount of times the students move) and the other with transportation themed movements (how they move). There is a template to make the dice out of paper and also square cards that can be glued to a recycled box, pocket cubes, or joined together with a simple binder clip. There are print friendly versions of each.
Great to use for Transportation theme, or Things That Go theme.
Review the skills/standards below and decide which (or all) standards will be part of your instructional goal.
