I have scanned historical black and white inked engravings from the “Little Birdie”s Picture Primer”, published 1900. I have cleaned them up and made adjustments necessary to make good clip art. I present them here as transparent .png clipart images, which you may use for cards, wall art, classroom lessons, posters, or whatever great project you imagine. I only ask that you link or give credit to me so those who admire them will be able to find my shop. You may make them available to students making presentations about life in the 18th and 19th century.
I have provided a preview so you can test some of the clips to see if they are suitable for your project. They are different from most clip art because the drawing with ink techniques of the 18th and 19th century were quite different from today’s artwork.
If you would like other images, or would like images that are in a different format, write me at GrammaElliottCreationa@gmail.com.
I have some early magazines, which include some beautiful vintage ads and historical books published before 1930. If you have specific wishes for clip art or images to use in a presentation, please contact me. I understand that books published before 1926 may be used as sources for public domain clip art.
