Trapezoids Scavenger Hunt
This scavenger hunt activity consists of 20 problems in which students will practice applying the properties of trapezoids. Problems include finding a missing angle of both non-isosceles and isosceles trapezoids, finding a diagonal of an isosceles trapezoid, and solving problems related to the midsegment of a trapezoid. Solving a multi-step equation is required for most all problems. This activity was created for a high school level geometry class.
Simply print the 20 problems and scatter around the room (and in the hallway if possible), give each student a recording worksheet, group students, and assign them a place to start. The answer they get will lead them to their next problem. They continue looping around until they have completed all 20 stations.
