This 10 page packet is for Trapped by the Ice, by Michael McCurdy.

The first two pages are vocabulary defintions and homework.

The next three pages are comprehension questions including questions such as "Name some qualities a person would need to survive a voyage like Shackleton's" and "What do you think would have been the most difficult part of Shackleton's voyage?"

The following two pages include comprehension questions such as "What was Shackleton's goal when the voyage of the Endurance began?" and "Which sentence best tells the main idea for the section of text that describes the events on April8, 1916?"

The last three pages is a vocabulary assessment for the story. An example of a question is:
