Product Description
We love transportation themed speech and language therapy. This packet is a “Trashy Town” book companion for the book by Andrea Zimmerman and David Clemesha. Print all resources and use with the book (not included) for speech therapy services.

Included Activities:
>Inferencing WH Questions: Page 4. Twelve illustrated inferential WH questions.
>WH Questions: Pages 5-6. Fifteen illustrated basic WH questions cards.
>Nouns: Page 7. Nine targeted noun cards from the book are included.
>Verbs: Page 8. Nine targeted verb cards from the book are included.
>Opposites: Page 9. Four sets of opposite cards are included.
>Category Sorting: Pages 10-13. Sort the items into the correct trashcan based on the category.
>Associations Sorting: Pages 14-16. Sort the mini cards into the correct location that Mr. Gilly visited.
>Attribute Describing: Pages 17-18. Use the describing poster on page 18 to describe an item in the dump. You can use this expressively or receptively depending on your students goals for describing attributes.
>Pronoun Monsters: Pages 19-20. Use the sentence strips on page 20 to feed the monsters the trash items while you work on pronouns.
>City Mat: Pages 21-22. Cut out the characters and story pieces on page 22 and put them in binder clips so that they can stand up and be moved around the mat. Act out the story with the pieces.
>Dot Page: Page 23. Print and use with dot markers to accompany therapy activity.
