I created this for my class this year and loved it! I printed off the cover page on green cardstock and the inside pages onto regular printer paper. Then I laminated the cover page and a plain piece of cardstock (for the back cover) and then binded the pages together. As we learned and added words to our word wall, the students wrote the words in their book. This really helped cut down on students having to get out of their seats to see the word wall from their tables. I love that students can take this with them when we do writing workshop and they can just use their book to find the sight words they want to use.
The borders were created by Graphics From the Pond (cover page) and Ink n Little Things (alphabet pages). I have given them credit on the first page of the file.
