Treasure Hunt is meant to be completed “Escape Room” style. Students are given 4 missions to complete during class. All missions meet 3rd and 4th grade math standards and are meant to be completed in teams In my classroom, we broke the students into 5 groups. Students are told that they need to complete all 4 missions in order to find the treasure!
All missions are related to subtraction and problem-solving! Subtraction goes up to the thousands place, is multi-step, and includes word problems, meeting both 3rd and 4th grade standards.
