Treasure the Measure is a 2-player game that allows students to not only identify a unit of measurement within a specific category, but also focuses on the abbreviations of the units. Players roll a die to determine a category of measurement such as mass, time, liquid volume, or length. Once a category has been rolled, the player searches the gameboard for a specific unit that fits into the category. For example, if 'mass' is rolled, the student searches the gameboard for g, kg, T, lb, and oz. An abbreviation chart containing the customary and metric measurements is provided on the game board. The first player to cover four units in a row - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - wins the game. This product meets or exceeds the Common Core Standards of Mathematics.
