This is the 2009 edition of the Treasures series.
These activities are leveled for the common core transition to deeper thinking for readers. The Approaching book ask remembering adn understanding questions on Blooms Taxonomy. However, the Beyond level questions go deeper into analyzing and evaluating levels of thinking.
Included in this document are a leveled review of weekly vocabulary, comprehension questions, and weekly skill introduced in main selection. The questions are designed to help the reader connect to the text.
You could use these supplementals in a variety of ways. EIther in small groups with a teacher, this would be so easy for a para, parent or other professional to take with a small group and easily maneuver a through a guided reading lesson. Or, you can have students work independently at their desk reading the book and answering the questions.
Each book has a different boarder to help with teacher organization.
