These little bracelets provide an EASY PEASY way for your kinder kids to practice their reading skills each week! It correlates to the McGraw Hill Treasures (National 2011) reading series for kindergarten, but could also be used as a review for first grade kiddos.
You'll find your students reading their bracelets all over the place... at lunch, waiting in line... and they provide a simple way of communicating learned skills to parents at home. Consider having your students "chant" their bracelets instead of just reading them! It would sound something like this: "/a/../a/..apple../m/../m/..monkey...w-e-we...t-h-e-the".
Each bracelet features both the letters and sight words being learned that week (30 bracelets in all). It also comes in both a color version (with solid penmanship font) and black-and-white (with a dotted penmanship font for tracing).
