4 fun and engaging center games that your students will love! Be sure to check out my preview! Vocabulary games include:
Paper Rock Scissors Partner Game- Students must answer vocab questions before they show their card. Each card is marked with a paper, rock, or scissors. Winner keeps the cards!
Vocab Fishing- Similar to a bingo, but in reverse! Students place goldfish crackers on a game board, covering up 6 of their weekly vocab words. They then take turns pulling clue cards. If their clue matches a vocabulary word that is covered with a goldfish, they can eat it! First one to eat all their goldfish wins! Can be played with partner, small group, or whole group.
Vocab M&M’s Students choose a vocabulary word and M&M. The color of M&M tells them what to do with their vocab word. Tell a synonym, antonym, definition, act it out, sentence, ect.
Vocabulary Silly Sentences- Students roll dice to choose noun, verbs, and vocabulary word that they then use to create “Silly Vocabulary Sentences”
