Description
Students will love this center activity for matching treble clef and bass clef notes to their labels. 64 matching cards in all set in bright colors! What a wonderful day to take a dip in the ocean! While you're swishing around in the water, try and take a few pictures of the brightly colored fish and jellyfish swimming through the waves. You must quickly match up each word with its corresponding notes on the treble or bass clef staff before you run out of time.
For this center/activity just print off the note cards that you want to use, laminate, and cut apart. You may choose to use only the treble clef words (fish) or bass clef words (jelly fish) or both types. There are enough combinations that you can separate them into small groups (4 groups of 8, 2 groups of 16, etc.). Then students can spend their time pairing words with notes on the staff! Use the treble/bass clef pages for a reference as needed.

*32 treble clef words and corresponding cards where the word is spelled out on a treble clef staff
*32 bass clef words and corresponding cards where the word is spelled out on a bass clef staff
