Learn Spanish vocabulary words while you learn about the traditions of Three Kings' Day, el Día de los Tres Reyes Magos! This unit has lesson plans, vocabulary cards, small matching cards, worksheets, a reading passages with comprehension questions, and a 16-page mini-book to read and color.
You get full page, full color vocabulary cards that show each of the Spanish vocabulary word with a picture. There are four sets of smaller cards: the Spanish word with the picture, the Spanish word without the picture, the English word, and just the pictures without words.
Your students will learn: los reyes/the kings, los regalos/the presents, la estrella/the star, las magos/the wise men, las cartas/the letters, los niños/the children, los dulces/the candies, las coronas/the crowns, el camello/the camel, el heno/the hay, los zapatos/the shoes, enero/January, seis/six, and tres/three.
There are five worksheets to practice the introduced vocabulary.
This unit also includes an informational text reading passage that can be used as a read-aloud or as a close read by the students. The text has comprehension questions.
There is also a 16-page mini-book to practice using the target vocabulary with sentences starting "Es el ..." and "Veo los ..."
