Description

The use of Diamond Templates is very effective to help students summarise and prioritise key factors when answering a question.
However, they have a lot of ‘wasted space’ which could be much better deployed for including explanations and illustrations of student reasoning. Too often, students simply provide a narrative in each cell, without making it clear to the reader why some factors are rated more important than others.
With this in mind I have created a ‘Triangle 9’ Template: it works exactly the same as a Diamond 9, but with specific areas created for students to explain clearly WHY they have decided to place some factors nearer the top or the bottom. They are also encouraged to decide what image would best be used to symbolise the most important and the least important factor.
