When I show a movie, of course I provide students with questions they need to answer. We need to make sure they’re not using movie time as nap time, right? As I watch movies, I type questions I think are key for students to answer and understand. Not only do I grade them, but I often use them in class discussions, too. Most questions are typed in the order they will be answered in the movie. This document is from “Triangle Fire.”
For students who don't have permission to watch movies, I provided websites where students can research and find the answers to the questions on the worksheet. This would be an alternative to watching the movie.
