Triangle Sum Theorem is one of my favorite things to teach and students may struggle when they first try to use the theorem but once it clicks, they have it! This worksheet set allows students to work together to complete problems. I find that students love working in groups and these are a quick and simple way to allow them to do that. I designed this set so that four students work at the same time. That’s not to say that you have to have four students in a group to work on this. You could have two or three students work on this at the same time but solve one or two problems each. I also set this up so that two problems face one way and two face the other way to facilitate students sitting together to do this activity. In the middle of the four problems is an oval that contains the sum of the four correct measures to allow you a quick way to check work. You can check the sum yourself or tell the students what the sum should be.
You could create a rotation of these sheets or have all the groups do the same sheet at the same time. You could also print one set of these and laminate them , allowing students to write on the sheets with a dry eraser marker if you don’t wish to give a specific grade for the activity.
