Triangle Trap is a 2-player geometry game that allows students to practice classifying triangles based on sides and/or angles. Players roll a die to identify a type of triangle before searching for one on the game board that fits the name. The first player to get 5 in a row - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - wins the game. Triangles included are scalene, isosceles, equilateral, right, obtuse, and acute. This activity meets or exceeds the Common Core Standards of Mathematics and makes for a great class activity or math center as students practice classifying triangles.
