This 9 piece triangular puzzle is harder than it looks! Students must write and balance 9 chemical reactions and then move the pieces to form a larger triangle, matching the answers on each side. This bundle includes the puzzle, to be printed on card stock and laminated or not, and two versions of the worksheet. A simple version has students balance the reactions (they are not in order). A more advanced version has students write the reactions in words, balance and then identify the type of reaction – synthesis, decomposition, combustion, etc. This product includes the puzzle key and keys for both worksheets. Make them once and use them again and again for formative assessment, practice, or quizzes.
