Trick-or-Treat! This is a fun and simple hand drawn Halloween themed game. Whoever ends up with the most pieces of candy at the end of the session wins!
Copy the 2 templates onto thick white or Halloween colored paper, cut each circle out, place all pieces into a basket, close your eyes, mix-mix-mix and see what you fish out! If it's a treat, you keep it! But if it's a trick (a ghoul or an opened candy), you put it back in the basket.
If you dare to make the game even more fun, print several pages of each template, color one page of candy and one page of ghouls. This time, if you pull out the colored candy, you get to take an extra turn! But watch out, if you get a colored ghoul, you have to put ALL your pieces back!
This game also has the benefits of teaching turn taking, following rules, cooperation, good sportsmanship and categorizing and more!
I use this during group speech therapy sessions. After each speech turn, the kiddos get a turn to reach into the basket. Then pass it on for the next student to take his turn.
Reproduce as much as you like!
Included is a blank "treats" page and a blank "trick" sheet, as well as both sheets colored with colored pencil.
