Description

In this activity, kids illustrate storybook scenarios involving addition & subtraction within 20.  The story contains situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, & comparing!  The unknown is also placed in all positions throughout the book, & students need to solve the embedded problems to continue on with the plot.  Based on a night of trick-or-treating, this blended math & reading activity is perfect for October or early November!
