Product Description
This is a poster series that contains common homophones (words that are pronounced the same but have different spellings and different meanings) that also have the long /oo/ sound. This sound/ spelling pattern is very challenging for ELL students and even more confusing are all the homophones that also contain the /oo/ sound. Each word has a short and simple definition as well as a complete sentence. The words include: too, two,to do, due, dew, threw, through, knew, new, blew, blue, flu, flue, flew. Each set of homophones is on a separate page which makes is large enough to display in the room. There are no pictures but your students could draw their own or you could add your own pictures.
