Trigonometry Identities Task Cards with Full Solutions and optional QR
Students always need more practice with identities and Task Cards really do work! They get the students engaged and keep them motivated to go through all of the problems, more so than a simple worksheet.
With this activity students apply their reasoning skills along with their trigonometric skills to solving identities. There are nine problems with step by step solutions for your convenience The rules used to solve the equations are the Pythagorean identities, the reciprocal laws, quotient identities, even and odd rules, and periodic rules.
There are two sets of the 9 cards, one with QR codes, and one without. The QR’s do not give a solution, but instead a helpful hint to get started. Students do not need an internet connection to use the QR codes, but do need a device with a QR reader installed. The full solutions are on an animated, printable PowerPoint. There is also a blank cards for you to personalize a problem you may have emphasized.
Also included are cards with guidelines to help students complete the identities
