This scavenger hunt reviews how to use law of sines and law of cosines to find missing angles and sides of a triangle, how to use right triangle trigonometry (sohcahtoa) to solve for missing sides and angles of a triangles, how to solve word problems involving the angle of elevation and angle of depression, how to use special right triangles to find missing sides of triangles, and how to determine the area of a triangle.

Understand and apply the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines to find unknown measurements in right and non-right triangles (e.g., surveying problems, resultant forces).
Prove the Laws of Sines and Cosines and use them to solve problems.
Use trigonometric ratios and the Pythagorean Theorem to solve right triangles in applied problems.
Explain and use the relationship between the sine and cosine of complementary angles.
Understand that by similarity, side ratios in right triangles are properties of the angles in the triangle, leading to definitions of trigonometric ratios for acute angles.
