Product Description
This is a fun holiday themed counting book! This book was made for a class with multiple disabilities.

Students will complete the book by putting the correct amount of ornaments on the tree to match the tree topper. You can complete this book using several different methods: paint, pom-poms, die-cuts, etc. Students will identify and trace numbers.

There are 4 strands of the Math Extendend Content Standards covered in this lesson. There are 3 strands of the Language Arts Extendend Content Standards that are covered in this lesson.

Extended Content Standards covered:

CC.K2.1c (Counting and Cardinality)- count up to 10 by 1s
CC.K3.3c (Counting and Cardinality) - match numbers to quantities
CC.K2.4c (Counting and Cardinality) -match the correct numeral to an object
CC.K2.5c through CC.K2.5b (Counting and Cardinality)- count up to 5, count up to 10

RL.35.4c through RL.35.4b (Reading Standards for Literature) -Match pictures or objects to words on how they are used in the text, Identify the meaning of words based on how they are used in a text.
RL35.7b (Reading Standards for Literature) Match text to specific illustrations
RL.35.9b (Reading Standards for Literature) Participate in supported grade-level appropriate adapted literature materials.
