For 10 years the Greeks failed to get inside and capture the city of Troy. Odysseus had a brilliant idea that led to the defeat of Troy. The Greeks built a huge wooden horse and hid their soldiers inside. The Trojans, thinking the horse was a gift, rolled it right into the city.
To complete this printable activity, color the horse. Cut off the bottom part of the page on the dotted line. Cut out the box with the soldiers and the box with the wooden slats. Glue the box of soldiers right into the middle of the horse. Then staple or glue just the very top part of the wooden slats box over the soldiers. Fold and lift the flap to show the soldiers 'hidden' inside the Trojan horse.
