Super engaging game to practice ER verbs vocabulary. This game is very effective because it is very hands on and it involves a one on one competition. To play this game
♣ Put students in groups of 2 and have them use one set of vocabulary cards.
♣ Have each pair put their desks facing each other to have more desk space.
♣ Have students spread out all their cards with the French word facing up.
♣ As the teacher calls out the vocabulary word in English, students will have to find
the French word on their desk. When they spot the word, they will take the card
off the desk. The first one to grab the card, gets to keep it.
♣ The teacher will keep calling verbs until there aren’t any cards left on the desk.
♣ The student with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
These cards cover ER verbs from Bien Dit 1 letters E-Z. They can also be used to play Concentration, Go Fish, or Old Maid (you would have to add an "odd" card). They can also be used as a review in French II in the beginning of the year. For verbs from letter A - D practice, check out my other game (Slap it).
