Level 1 of Trout Plays Baseball requires students to complete a variety of grammar exercises in order to win the game, while learning vocabulary related to the sport. Students practice how to describe what someone is doing (actions), when to say "some" or "any" with "there is/there are", and how to make an affirmative sentence into a question. They also have to practice question words and the imperative tense (commands).
