This is the third of three booklets although it occurs far earlier than the other two. The text of this booklet is easy reading, but the story is quite long. The questions, however, follow the curriculum, and some students may have to answer them orally.
This history is known only from Homer's epic poems, so mostly the questions concentrate on character and plot.
It's hard to teach grammar entirely outside of a context; so I have included lessons based on this given text.
I have included far more questions than you may want the student to answer. Choose whichever ones seem useful or interesting.
Since some schools will not allow the showing of movies in the classroom one assignment says IF you watch the movie Troy. The issue of honour is part of this story, but most of the information available is for adult consumption so I have not asked that question directly.
Watch for the word game with the classical allusion.
