Product Description

Use this resource to help talk to kids with disabilities about their disabilities. This resource can be a great beginning of the year activity or an assignment to do with families during conferences or open house. By starting to talk to kids about their disabilities, it can help empower kids and young adults to learn about who they are, instead of feeling ashamed for the disability they have.

It includes a reflection sheet for kids and young adults to share their thoughts. This would be a great activity in resource class, at the beginning of the year, or in a small group.

Special education teachers, regular education teachers, SLPs, and other support staff can use this resource to start to talk with kids about their learning challenges.
