These are book-suggestion bookmarks that are organized by reading level and should be kept in your classroom library for easy student access. I store mine in library pockets beside my classroom library.
Students should recognize the popular book and photograph at the top of each bookmark. They will be able to find future books to read per the suggestions on the bookmark. The suggestions are books that match the reading level of the popular book. These bookmarks will assist your students in selecting new, “just right” books to read during reader’s workshop in independent reading time.
I print each bookmark on different colored copy paper (cardstock is nice but not necessary), cut, and keep in my classroom library for students to access when needed. I also keep a few copies with me at my guided reading table to provide for students who many need them during a conference or strategy group.
Bookmarks for guided reading levels G-P, perfect for primary grade classroom libraries and school librarians alike!
