I am constantly looking for ways to assess my students' comprehension and mastery of skills and standards. This resource contains comprehension questions (multiple choice and short response) for Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt.
It is designed to be rigorous and text-based. Most questions require students to go back to specific pages, paragraphs, or scenes in order to gather evidence or evaluate the text.
Each page contains a focus skill (like determining meaning, or locating evidence for inferences) for a chapter or set of chapters. It is designed to go with the Square Fish, Farrar Straus Giroux version of the book. This is important because the resource contains page and paragraph numbers! You can use this resource for whole class instruction, as well as guided reading groups, literature circles, or independent reading.
It is currently in PDF form for formatting purposes, but should you be interested in an editable version I would be happy to send it to you in Word format after your purchase. That way you can differentiate, modify, and edit as you see fit!
Thank you, and enjoy!
