My philosophy for teaching novels is to offer students two forms of mastery. First, I have a post-assessment "test." After that, I like to offer students a project-based learning opportunity.
This product includes three project options for Tuck Everlasting. The three projects are creative writing based (a RAFT), advertising based (students create their own product to sell based on the Spring Water), and research based (students decide if humans will ever be able to live forever).
This product includes:
-Brief descriptions of all three projects
-Format set-up for the RAFT
-Brainstorming organizer for Option 2
-Research organizer for Option 3
-Editable Project Work timetable
-CCSS Rubric for Option 2
When I offered this to my students, EVERY student chose Option 2 - the product advertisement! Therefore, I only created one rubric (for Option 2). I am pricing the product as if it is one project, consider the extras for Option 1 and Option 3 as freebies!
