Comprehensive 22 page original, thoughtfully crafted study guide to give to students to complete as they read Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom. Full of enriching connective activities, such as analyzing thematically-related music and both classical and contemporary poetry and movie clips, and prompts for students to research other cultures' views on death. Activities lead students to draw parallels to modern day society. Thoughtful, non-basic reading questions that keep the students interested and feeling "part" of the Morrie experience. Includes final project I designed to have students do their own interview. (All details included). Very successful and memorable unit both students and parents value. This unit plan is designed to lead students to truly absorb the life lessons Morrie gives to Mitch, and to put them into direct life application. I can share (e-mail) my own example Interview Project on PowerPoint if you'd like to see a completed project. The file is too large to include here.
