Miss Donnelly's Daily Apple

A complete lesson plan for Tuesdays with Morrie, focused on the theme of 'coach'/mentor in the novel and encouraging students to connect to their own lives and write template poems to/about the influential people in their lives!

This lesson plan is complete from start to finish: opening activities, materials, instruction, independent practice, and both formative and summative practice!

This lesson is also directely aligned with the English/Language Arts standards and is fun (that's the best part!)

A great lesson to implement for this novel! (Perfect for 9th/10th grade, but can easily be adapted for upper high school)
