Now it's time to have some fun with for loops! Drawing commands only draw simple shapes. What if we put them inside a loop? This package builds on the Turing Unit 1 Package as well as the Turing 2 A Draw Commands Package with more student handouts, PowerPoint lessons, assessments, code exemplars and answer keys.
This is the third of 5 resources. Concepts and skills have been broken down into short chunks. Students are given short code fragments to explore, followed by questions to consolidate their learning. Two assessments have been provided at the end of this package. They are also asked to reflect on their learning and provided terminology to begin a programming dictionary.

This is ideal for classrooms where the seating is tight. There are three different versions of student handouts for these units. This includes the culminating activity! The versions would be given consecutively around the room so that students sitting together would each get something slightly different. This way students have different examples of the same exercise so they can work together to determine how something works. It also minimizes the amount of copying within the class.
