This Turk and Runt Activities unit is designed to save you time while helping you build your students' reading comprehension as they learn to look Beyond the Text (TM)

This Turk and Runt unit was designed with your learners in mind, with each day building on the previous day’s reading, and at the end, students work to respond and create based on the text. Although it was designed this way, the unit does not have to be used this way in your classroom.
