Hello! Thank you for purchasing my
I hope you enjoy using this product as much as I do!
Please leave me some feedback and if you have any questions please feel free to email me:
I have included ten (10) turkeys with a variety of categories on them, six (6) feathers with objects that go with each turkey and a black and white set to make up your own categories OR send home as a carryover activity with parents.
Print the turkeys and feathers. For extra durability, you can laminate them. I added velcro to the back str use them on the felt board.
There are two ways you can present the categories:
1: Present the turkey with the category on it and have the children find the pictures of items that belong in those categories and build the turkeys.
2. Present 2 or 3 feathers with the items and ask the children to first locate the category they belong in and then find the other feathers to complete the turkey.
Blackline Turkeys and Feathers:
I’ve included the backline versions without pictures or category names so that you can create your own with the children OR send them home for practice with parents.
As a carryover activity, I suggest writing the name of a category on the turkeys and have the children think of words that go into those categories and write them on the feathers OR write words on the feathers and have the children come up with the category they belong in. It is a fun activity they can also do with their parents!
