Here's a class set of CVC phonics turkeys for your literacy centers! This set includes 30 printable one-page crafts featuring turkeys and CVC pictures. Students will color, cut, and glue the turkey feathers to build a decodable CVC (short vowel) word.
My students (first grade, Special Education) were able to complete these printable crafts independently in our word work (Daily 5) literacy center.
There are 30 different CVC words for your students to build. My small groups used half of the words and then I'm sending the extra pages home for holiday break.
Optional: print these pages on colored cardstock and create a hands-on center that can be used every November!
Differentiation made easy...students name the picture and match the initial, medial, or final sound. Students can also build and blend the entire CVC word.
Looking for more word building? Check out Build-a-Snowman - there's 90 snowman pages with more word work options to use all winter long!
